Mr. Johnny Blanks has worked for 30 years in one of the most dangerous fields in New York City as a Professional Window Cleaner. He has worked at iconic high-rise buildings throughout New York City. The Empire State Building, The former World Trade Center, Chrysler Building and Rockefeller Centre just to name a few. Mr. Blanks reputation is one who pays "Attention to Detail" and Excellence. While doing this dangerous and daring job, Mr. Blanks found a way to amassed over 25 years as a professional entertainer and entertainment executive. Below are some of his extensive accomplishments.
Johnny says "cleaning windows in N.Y. has taught me that my tomorrow depends on my VISIONS today." Johnny's mantra LET GO TO GROW is how he lives and gives in his life.
Johnny is a Veteran of the U.S. NAVY and has received Letters of Commendations for his "JOB WELL DONE". He has also received a Proclamation from the Mayor of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. honoring him as an "Individual who has endeavored to make a difference in the lives of others". Johnny is the former Fashion Coordinator for Ambassdor Dr. Bobby Jones of (BET). He has hosted the fashions of Pan Zai Fashions for 9 seasons on the WORD NETWORK (the only fashion show to run that length on the network). He is the manager of Canadian Gospel Artist Kathy Grant.
Johnny is the President of D.M.I., a New York based artist development company, Vice President of the KGME and Producer of Gospel Groove. A weekly Gospel Radio Show heard on www.chri.ca every Sunday night from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.. He also produces the Gospel Groove Motivational Minute, which you can hear him deliver live at 9 pm every Sunday Night on Gospel Groove. He is the Co-Founder of both the Canadian Gospel Music Conference (CGMC) and "CrED" Creative Entertainment Development Program. Johnny has hosted the First Ladies Summit Fashion Show at the Capital Building in Washington, D.C. All of this while raising his daughter from the tender age of 3 until adulthood as a single father.
